Highland Woodworking, Inc. agrees to pay author a store credit redeemable for merchandise through Highland Woodworking in the value of $.10 per published word (after editing) up to $100 for original articles written and contributed by author and accepted and published in Wood News, Highland Woodworking's electronic newsletter. Author is responsible for providing photos and/or drawings to illustrate the articles submitted. Highland Woodworking, Inc. reserves the right to accept or decline for publication any article submitted, and to edit the article for scope and clarity at its discretion. Author warrants that all material submitted is his or her original work.

Author will be credited in a byline, and retains ownership of the copyright of each original article and photo submitted. Author unconditionally grants to Highland Woodworking, Inc. an exclusive license to immediately publish the article including any photos and drawings in the Wood News newsletter, as well as electronically and/or in print at Highland Woodworking, Inc.'s discretion for one year from date of publication.
