Below: demonstrations of href and src references that work under NS and what they look like after migration. Note that using https://highlandwoodworking.mom for some in-house file references will be replaced with something like https://info.highlandwoodworking.mom for the real migration.

Custom pages in NS have relative URL like: /about-us.aspx

Custom pages in Shopify have the relative URL: /pages/custom-about-us

  The uglies only apply to custom pages. The 8000 "info" pages referenced from custom pages (woodnews and all that) are standalone (i.e., without the Shopify enclosure) and work as designed.

• Wood News vol. 1. Big mess in Shopify. Shopify choked on the many nesting levels of tables within tables.
• A very large Wood News directory page Came across beautifully.
• Freight estimator custom page works fresh from migration!
• Take any NS custom page (e.g., /about-us.aspx) and view it in Shopify with the corresponding shopify URL (e.g., /pages/custom-about-us).
