The jig sharpens twist bits from 1\/8\" (3mm) to 7\/8\" (22mm) in diameter. In addition to providing an accurate \u0026amp; heat-free grind, the DBS-22 jig will grind a 4-facet chisel edge onto the bit end. This creates a crisp point compared to a conventional cone point bit and keeps your drill bit from walking as you begin the hole, while taking less thrust force to drill the hole. As a result, less heat is generated prolonging the life of the bit.
